Spicewood Farms' Summer Camp is
now open for
registration!
Spicewood Farms offers week-long summer camp sessions during the month of June. Camp runs half a day, from 8am-1pm.
Spicewood Farms Summer Camp
is open to children ages 5-15 at all levels of riding, beginner through
advanced. Mounted and unmounted
instruction will be customized to fit the individual needs of your child.

Our Summer Camp Program Includes:
Riding Lessons
Daily lessons on our school horses. All horse
assignments will be made by head instructor Shari based on riding experience.
Lessons may include activities such as bareback riding and mounted games
appropriate to the rider's experience.
Camp Show
Every Friday, all campers will participate in an informal horse show.
This will be their opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have learned
during the camp session.
Stable Management & Horse Management Lessons
Equine psychology, equipment care, feeds and
feeding, vet care, anatomy, horse ownership and more! Activities
include “day in the life of a horse,” interactive horse anatomy quizzes, and
team grooming competitions!
Arts & Crafts
Fun projects that allow your child to
express his/her creativity! Every week, we will paint the Spicewood horses
in bright Indian-inspired designs!
Other Activities
Fridays will include an end-of-camp party that will include a trick show by Red
the Wonder Horse and a jumping demonstration by our counselors!
Cost
$275/week.
Cost of camp includes a Spicewood Farms t-shirt!
The week from June 30-July 3 will cost $225 for the four day session.
Terms
A deposit of $200 is required for the first week,
and $100.00 for subsequent weeks, to hold your space. This deposit is refundable
up to May 1st and not thereafter. Balance in full is due on June 1st.
